Toronto 1984
In 1984, the 8 Metre World Cup was held in Toronto with three brand new 8 Metre Yachts competing. About 16 yachts in all competed and Iroquois came in third.
It’s owner left behind one of the new 8 Metres, Golden Feather. Eugene took advantage of being caretaker of the boat to lull Harry Voss into the romance of 8 Metre competition. The rest is history..
