Lafayette

When Murdoch McKillop wanted a competitive 8-Metre to represent the Royal Northern & Clyde for the 2007 Centennial he would not go half measures. He bought the 2004 World Champion from fellow RNCYC member Jos Fruytier. Together with Hollandia she sparred through spring and her all Scottish team clearly knew the ropes as they gave the Dutch contingent a pretty tough time. Lafayette has proven over and over again to be able to beat the best boats afloat, once winning the Coppa d’Italia, twice the World Champion and three times European Champion. With an all-new wardrobe by North and a face or rather body lift, Lafayette is again ready to show she’s still among the best of the best.
