This lovely Alfred Mylne designed first rule yacht was built at Åbo Båtsvarv, the famous yard in Finland. She competed in the trials for the 1912 Olympics and after she spent her years racing and cruising the Baltic. Wilhelm Wagner bought Edit in bad shape from Finland and restored her at his yard on the shores of Lake Constance.  With her varnished topsides and a most impressive gaff rig she will ghost along in light air. For Edit this is the sixth World Cup. In 1987, 1988, 1992, 1998 and 2000 she was there. Willi decided to sail her again in her former home waters. Edit is not just a quick boat, she’s also among the prettiest gaff rigged boats afloat.
